GETTING AROUND
Bus
There are city buses in Puerto Vallarta which serves downtown, Zoza Hotelera,
and the southern beaches. Bus stops are marked by blue and white signs and can
be found every two or three blocks along the highway and in town.
Car
Unless
your itinerary involves outer-city exploration, driving in the crowded Puerto
Vallarta may not be a very pleasant experience since traffic seems to fill the
streets virtually every season, and the parking place is not usually easy to
come by. It is advisable that you take buses or taxis to get anywhere in
the city instead.
Taxi
Taxis
are plenty in the city and you can easily flag one on the street. If the
cabs do not have meter installed, be sure to agree on the fare before embarking.
