Monterrey

Monterrey is the capital of the State of Nuevo Leon in northern Mexico and if the locals do not speak Spanish you might as well fool yourself that you are in the U.S.  The city is always that pulsating and technologically advanced.  Although it is a renowned industrialized city, many fine sights are still preserved that it would be a pity to miss. 

Oaxaca

Oaxaca is situated in the southern state of the same name and radiates a unique aura of a Spanish-built city.  The attractions of Oaxaca are vast and varied, ranging from the virgin rugged landscape, teeming markets packed with local handicraft products, and several magnificent colonial buildings.  This is indeed one of the best Mexican towns for travellers who'd like to explore the 'authentic' Mexican flavor without the lack of tourist facilities.
